My mission to build burnout-proof businesses is not just a professional one; it's deeply personal. I grew up as the daughter of a master mechanic—a genius with his tools. I watched him build a respected business from the ground up.

I also had a front-row seat to what that success cost him. I saw the 70-hour weeks, the missed family dinners, and the stress he carried in his shoulders. I watched him 'retire' from a lifetime under the hood, only to immediately pick up a hammer and become a contractor because he couldn't turn off the need to build.

I realized then that for the masters of their craft—the builders, the healers, the creators—the work is part of their soul. But I also saw that if the business isn't designed the right way, it can consume that soul.
